How hard is to keep Persian kitten/cat well groomed ? |
|
You need to brush him/her regularly . The most common problem areas are behind the ears, belly, sides. If you are too busy to give your cat good brushing every night, she will become matted in no time .To avoid it - use animal clippers to trim her coat or /and visit a groomer monthly to shave her coat nicely. Trust me , it’s worth it every penny ! |

There is some truth in these words , it does happens . Not always , but we’ve seen some cases . Deafness is associated with the autosomal dominant white gene , especially in combination with blue eyes. But cats are remarkably adaptable and will compensate by relying more on their other senses , such as smell and sight. |

We do not allow public to come in our home and see our Persian kittens until they reach at least 8 weeks of age. Because it is traumatic for their mother , and it’s not healthy for kittens either : they do have very weak immune system until they wean and visitors can bring germs and viruses that could be harmful .

"Teacup" Persian is not a breed , it is a nickname of a small born kittens . And if parents are small -kittens will stay small when they will grow up, not because there is such a breed " teacup" but because their parents are small . Small Persian cat is adult cat that is between 5-8 lbs. Parents of our kittens are from 5-8 lbs Persians, so we expect our kittens be in the same range when they grow up. Females are typically smaller then males though in some litters there is always tiniest little boy . If you will overfeed it , will give genetically modified food and chickens with hormones , soy/wheat junk which added to almost everything unless it's organic -then it will grow her biggest potential. If you want your cat stay small and lean- feed it the Raw diet + supplements. Important note : The “ Teacup” cats do not “ always stay kittens” . The stay much smaller then he regular Persian cats who easy reach 14 lbs bridge by 1o –11 months of age. But the only difference is their size. The breed standards are the same : color , short nose , round eyes , small on the sides ears , short legs and very long fur . Our “ teacup” queens are Paris and Sangria are the best examples of very small size – they weigh 4-5 lbs and in the same time they have all Persian cat’s standards and qualities .

Cats gain weight not because of the surgery , but because of the very bad food owners give them. Did you ever seen lions, tigers, any animal that don’t eat dry kibble food , fat and obese ? Of course not. Why cats get fat ? Because they eat dry kibble food that contains carbohydrates in the form of grains , protein the derives from plants instead of meat , water depleted diet kills pets . Educate yourself , read more here : http://www.catinfo.org/feline_obesity.htm Raw diet is the best for your cat , this is the only way to keep your cat healthy, beautiful and lean. |
