DO :
· Praise kitty for going in the box · Place the box in the quiet , safe area with low traffic · Clean it twice a day · Have at least 2 boxes for each kitten /cat
DON’T :
· Put box in high traffic area · Use strong deodorizers when cleaning · Punish your cat for going outside the box · Put air fresher close to box · Put box in the area where she can be ambushed by another cat , or dog while in the box. · Put box in the dark , damp area ( basement , laundry, etc ) · Change location or litter type suddenly .
We recommend Open boxes ( without hood) , not automatic ones. Large and wide . Regular sturdy scoop to clean it. Litter we use : World’s Best , Litter Clean .
